Pan African Women Projects (PAWP) is a non-profit, non-governmental, non-religious and non-political organization of all African women — within the nations of Africa and across the Diaspora — together with friends of Africa.

PAWP was born of a careful study, interaction and analysis of the dehumanizing plights of women in Africa, especially rural dwellers. We examined the role of women in homes, their unimaginable talent and untapped potential, the traditional, societal and economic handicaps they face, and the irresponsible attitudes of many governments towards women, children and persons with disability.

From this study came a deep and unshakeable resolve: to tackle these challenges head-on, empower the African woman to live a normal and better life, and help alleviate poverty in Africa and the world.

Vision

"One People, One Vision, One Goal."

A united Africa where every woman is empowered, every child is educated, every community has access to healthcare, and every nation upholds the dignity and rights of its people.

Mission

To alleviate poverty across Africa.

Through the efforts and contributions of women — using developmental projects in education, health, empowerment, advocacy, investment and humanitarian intervention.

Our Seven Organs

One movement. Seven pillars of African transformation.

PAWP functions through seven cardinal organs — each addressing a defining challenge facing African women, children and communities.
