In consonance with the Continuous voter registration exercise (CVR) that commenced on the 28th June,2021 our organisation in partnership with the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) we had started holding sensitization workshops across the six (6) geopolitical zones in Nigeria and the second in the series is this SOUTH EAST SENSITIZATION WORKSHOP held in Awka at Dora Akunyili Women Development Centre on the 30th July,2021.

In attendance were the Resident Electoral Commissioner (REC) of Anambra State Dr.Nkwachukwu Orji,HOD Voter Education INEC Anambra State Mr Samuel Nimem, keynote Speaker Prof.Joy.Ezeilo OON, PHD, LLM (LONDON ),LLM (NIG.) Professor of law /Head of Department Public Law University of Nigeria UNN,Enugu Campus,Enugu State,Director National Orientation Agency (NOA) Barr.Charles Nwoji, Dr.Dan Ezeanwu Permanent Secretary Ministry of Economic Planning,Budget and Development Partners and Mrs Hope Ekesiobi Director Ministry of Social Welfare,Women and Children Affairs represented the Hon.Commissioner Women Affairs Lady Ndidi Mezue, DCC Joachin Okefor Head of Operätions NSCDC Anambra State,DCP Kennedy OTI represented the Police Force, Iyom Josephine Anenih Former Minister Federal Ministry of Women Affairs Abuja & Vice President League of Nigerian Women Voters, Mrs.Njideka O.gender desk officer INEC Anambra represented Mrs .Blessing Obedegwu Director Gender & Inclusively INEC HDQS Abuja, Barr.Ijeoma Chijoke represented the President National Council of Women Societies. Others were women leaders and groups that cut across all political parties , PWDS, CSOS, Youth groups,Students, members and partners of PAN AFRICAN WOMEN PROJECTS and media.
